Some considerations when measuring ring sizes:
Professional sizing methods are more reliable and accurate than online or at-home methods. Professional sizing can be done at a local reputable jeweler.
It is important to take into account the width of your ring band as wider bands typically require a larger size to fit comfortably. It is therefore always best to be sized with a professional jeweler's ring sizer of the same width as the one you intend to purchase.
The best size is usually the ring that fits snugly and gives a little resistance when you take it off. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
The design of these unique sterling silver wedding rings was created in the pictographic outline drawing style of the Medicine painters , who paint in the Native Woodland School Of Art discipline. The dramatic outline of the Sleeping Giant , a rock formation that rises high above the waves of Thunder Bay in Lake Superior is a prominent source of design inspiration for jeweler Zhaawano. The two halves of the ring exteriors, divided by a flowing, oxidized outline inspired by the silhouette of the Sleeping Giant, represent the bodies and spirits of two soul mates becoming one with each other and with Aki , the Earthmother and Giizhig the Earthfather. The stylized, inlaid silhouettes of their faces rise up out of the Earth, the anatomical features of their bodies joining the earth's surface and the world above it in one fluid motion; thus they become a symbolic unity with Aki and the Sky themselves. The lines of bodies and faces running across the rings' surfaces mark where earth and sky meet. They symbolically connect the life partners to the Cosmos and to all aspects of GICHI-MANIDOO, the sum of all Mystery.
